What is DEX.io?
DEX.io aims at building a high-excellent decentralized cryptocurrency exchange.
The current version of DEX.io is a hybrid-decentralized exchange on Ethereum. It offers off- chain matching and on-chain settlement, supports most of standard ERC-20 tokens, realizes effective decentralized order matching, and requires digital signature with private key for asset procedures.
DEX.io Development Roadmap
Stage 1: Launch a hybrid-decentralized exchange on Ethereum.
Stage 2: Improve decentralized architecture by utilizing Ethereum’s second layer scaling technologies.
Stage 3: Launch the cross-blockchain platform DEXChain, building a decentralized exchange for cross-chain trading.
The DEX.io team recently completed beta version for PC in Stage 1. The beta runs stably on Ropsten Testnet, and is now available for user testing. After enough testing, it will be released on Ethereum Mainnet.

DEX.io, a more open platform for decentralized exchange
DEX.io runs on the Ethereum network, so there is no need of user registration or certification for trading cryptocurrencies. Each transaction will be recorded on the chain. User signature/authorization is required for any asset changes (withdraw within smart contract, transfer and trade, etc.). It enables auditable, secure and transparent transactions.
Through the off-chain relay service provider (Relayer), DEX.io efficiently matches the orders of buyers and sellers. It solves the problems of slow matching and high cost for on-chain transactions.
DEX.io is open to most of ERC-20 compliant tokens. There can be free trade even if your token project has not been widely circulated or recognized.
