BUIDL the Future on the Internet Computer at ETHDenver 2023
All Devs looking to be a pioneer of Web3, clutch up!! As part of the ETHDenver BUIDLathon, the DFINITY Foundation is giving out bounties and chances to win grants to BUIDLers who can meet the Internet Computer (ICP) challenge.
The ICP Community is super psyched to be joining ETHDenver 2023 with a BUIDLathon track, a BUIDLer workshop, and more! We’re looking forward to welcoming newbies to the ICP ecosystem and introducing developers to the Internet Computer blockchain and its capabilities. But more importantly, we can’t wait to connect with like-minded peeps interested in decentralization and pushing the boundaries of the latest Web3 tech. LMIRL
You ready to #BUIDL a true decentralized future on the Internet Computer? We’ve put together a fun set of bounties, we’re sure will get you pumped.
Apply now, it’s totally free!
Of course, we’re gonna be there ready to support you in realizing your innovative ideas.
About the Bounties
We’ve created 5 fun categories that will allow you to work with the Internet Computer’s most innovative capabilities, including HTTPS Outcalls, native BTC Integration, ckBTC, chain-key signing and biometric authentication. Each bounty is worth $5000, plus a chance to get up to $25k in developer grants.
- Bounty #1: Decentralized Frontend Hosting for DAOs
- Bounty #2: Get crazy with dynamic NFTs hosted on ICP
- Bounty #3: Integrate with the ICP
- Bounty #4: Build with Bitcoin
- Bounty #5: On-chain Governance for EVM DAOs
How to Win
We’re looking to be wowed. The judges will select winners based on creativity, quality of design and source code, impact and potential, level of usability and contribution to the Internet Computer blockchain. But this shouldn’t scare you off — the 5 bounty categories, give you all the freedom to let your creative juices flow. It’s simple, really. Bring DeFi and SocFi to Bitcoin, go mad with NFTs, or decentralize an Ethereum DAO on the Internet Computer and get rewarded for it!

Get a Head Start
The advantages of building on the Internet Computer blockchain are endless: no gas fees for users, low storage costs, scalability, web-serving, speed, sustainability, cross-chain integration, advanced governance system run by a DAO, and more. As it provides a complete tech stack for developers to build on, the Internet Computer blockchain is poised to help you start a revolution with a new way to design, build, and release dapps fully hosted on-chain without ever relying on centralized cloud providers. This provides complete decentralization and removes single points of failure.
If you’re thinking of taking on one of the bounty challenges, it might be best not to wait until the BUIDLathon starts. Check out our newly revamped developer docs to get a head start. We recommend going straight to the guides tab to get yourself set up for success.
You can also practice using our sample code or review the existing projects in the ICP ecosystem for inspiration. Oh, and you might want to browse through the capabilities that are paving the way for the Internet Computer to become the World Computer.
This is your ultimate chance to be a Web3 pioneer and reinvent the internet — The ICP Community wishes you the best of luck!!

About the Internet Computer
The Internet Computer (ICP) blockchain is the first “World Computer” on which fully on-chain Web3 services can be built, including demanding web social media, without need for traditional IT such as cloud computing services. No centralized cloud providers, bridges or oracles needed — ICP serves frontend, hosts data, can already do 25k+ TXs/s, plugs into Web2 APIs and signs native Bitcoin TXs. As such, it enables end-to-end decentralization.
