There’s no doubt that people love to foster and collect endearing creatures inhabiting their favorite digital universes — a formula that’s been loved by many and present in many hit games and series, including but not limited to, Pokémon, Digimon and Axie Infinity.
But there’s been one issue that has long since plagued the genre in a big way. These creatures are often restricted in the way they’re managed by partner companies. Leveraging the Internet Computer technology, ToyoWorld integrates on-chain gaming in a unique and seamless way. Players will be able to do things like trade their Toyos on an in-game marketplace on chain, bringing an entire new meaning to the phrase ‘in-game economy’.
Alternatively, players could also capture Toyos right from the game, and mint them to their wallets as NFTs. Players could even use their ICP tokens for have a chance at encountering a rare new type of Toyo, we call shiny Toyos!
Furthermore, ToyoWorld plans to collaborate with other projects, meaning users who want to bring their Toyos with them to other games within the ICP ecosystem, can now do so!
