dHedge: Invest like the best
dHedge testnet competition is now LIVE!

dHedge is a new protocol for decentralised asset management powered by Synthetix. With this announcement, dHedge is emerging out of stealth mode.
Over the next 2 weeks, dHedge will be running a competition on Ethereum’s Ropsten testnet with 125,000 DHT and 5,000 SNX in prizes up for grabs for the best performing managers. This competition will introduce crypto traders to the dHedge platform as they experience the groundbreaking world of non-custodial mimetic trading for synthetics. It marks the start of awareness and community building for dHedge, and a journey to find the best managers out there.

dHedge trading competition
The competition will start today and run for 2 weeks until 8am UTC, August 3 (6pm AEST, 4am EST, 1am PT). The prizes will be awarded to the traders with the highest Total Return at the end of the competition, according to this table:
- 1st place: 37,000 DHT + 1,500 SNX + own channel on dHedge Discord
- 2nd place: 25,000 DHT + 1,000 SNX
- 3rd place: 12,000 DHT + 500 SNX
- 4th-20th place: 3,000 DHT + 120 SNX
To enter the competition, follow these steps:
1. Head to www.dhedge.org and follow the link to the App
2. Connect your Web 3 wallet (like Metamask) to the Ropsten testnet
3. Click on Create a Pool and Join Competition. After tweeting a message you will be eligible for the competition
4. You will be guided through a process of obtaining testnet ETH and converting it to testnet sUSD in order to start managing your pool
After the competition
Prizes will be distributed before the end of August. There will be an initial fixed supply of 100,000,000 DHT. The DHT won in this competition and any subsequent competition ahead of mainnet will be the only circulating supply at the TGE.
Mainnet is expected to go live in September, after a thorough smart-contract audit has been completed and will include many additional features vs. the trimmed-down platform now showcased.
