The success of DIA DAO depends on the hustle of its members who apply for various bounties (task rewards) that are distributed randomly and updated frequently across 7 guilds (departments), including Growth and Promo, Copy-writing, Design, Operations, Human Resource (HR), Tech, and Business Development (BD).

Note that any grind worthy of recognition is handsomely rewarded, and this guideline is meant to jump-start your journey into the meritocratic and incentivizing universe that is DIA DAO.

This article would be targeting members who wish to join the copy-writing guild specifically, but entrants aiming for any of the other guilds would also find immense value as the overall process is largely the same.

In short, specific roles would be assigned to you after certain tasks are completed successfully, and you can get started in just 5 simple steps.

The 5 Steps to Earning ETH on DIA DAO

Step 1

To apply to any of the guilds, your first goal would be to acquire the “DAO-Applicant” status. Know that you would need a Dework account, a MetaMask wallet, and a Discord Profile to qualify for this role. Once you satisfy the prerequisites mentioned above, fill in this application form (located in the onboarding space of DIA on Dework) with all the necessary details and link your MetaMask wallet to your Dework profile to accept payments.

[1] Create Dework, MetaMask, and Discord Accounts, Link Your Wallet, and Submit the Application

Step 2

Next, accept the invite to DIA DAO’s Discord Server, and wait until your “DAO-Applicant” status is confirmed. Till then, have a look at the #info-center there to remain abreast of what is to come, and do remember to check out the complete overview of each role on DIA’s Dework Space.

[2] Accept the Invite, Browse DIA’s Server, and Don’t be Afraid to say Hi

Step 3

Once approved as an applicant, you would be able to access and apply to all the onboarding tasks associated with the various guilds on Dework. Each guild has a specific onboarding task that must be completed first if you wish to compete against other contenders for paid bounties. Consider these tasks as opportunities to showcase your strengths and the value you bring to the organization and its community. If selected, the guild will reward you with a specific role and permit you to submit your applications for the bounties it holds.

[3] Start Completing the Onboarding Tasks for the Guild/s that Interest you to Gain the Roles of Your Choice

You might be thinking, “But how do I get in, let’s say, the Copy-writing Guild?

Taking the copy-writing guild as an example, the onboarding task would be a 500-word minimum blog post regarding “What is DIA.” Only those applicants who provide one-of-a-kind submissions addressing this topic would be deemed worthy of the copy-writing roles. So, it is highly recommended that your best attempt is offered for review.

It must be creative, original, and unique, giving value to both the readers and DIA DAO.

Once both the Applicant and Guild-specific roles are obtained, all active copy-writing-related (or qualified guild-centric) bounties would become visible. Each bounty would generally list:

  1. The Background/Context: To provide you with the preface and a backdrop to plan your approach.
  2. The Complete Overview: To ensure that your understanding of the topic in question is complete.
  3. The Expected Deliverables: To list the expectations and the date of submission.
  4. The Promised Rewards: To incentivize noteworthy efforts through monetary gains.

Step 4

Once you understand the criteria, we enter step 4, wherein you will set out to deliver an outline that defines how you plan to structure the piece you wish to claim the bounty for. This is your opportunity to prove your skills and knowledge on the topic. Know that many other contributors would be competing to earn the prize; hence, make sure you drop in relevant details that would set your work apart from the start and make you shine among others.

[4] Read the Overview and Instructions of all [Copy-writing] Bounties Clearly and Submit Your Layout

Step 5

Each outline is read meticulously by the editor and the top three submissions would be presented to the leader of the copy-writing guild. The winner would be chosen amongst the three. The victor would generally be the one who can imbue the most value in the deliverables set forth, and the quality of the complete submission would be reaffirmed by both the editor and the leader of the copy-writing guild. If successful, the contributor would publish the bounty on DIA Community Hub. Therefore, all contributors must sign-up on Medium and create a personal account. Highlighting your role as a DIA DAO contributor in your profile is highly recommended.

I hope the steps were clear enough to get the ball rolling. Still, wherever stuck, don’t hesitate to reach out to me on Discord and immerse yourself completely in Discord chats on DIA’s server. Our community and guild leaders are prompt, friendly, and awaiting your questions and queries.

Hurry on then and start building before someone else claims that bounty.
