Hello Avalanche: DIA Continues Cross-chain Integration on Avalanche
We are excited to announce that DIA oracles are live on Avalanche mainnet providing developers access to DIA’s accurate and transparent price feeds.
Avalanche is an open-source platform for launching DeFi applications and enterprise blockchain deployments in one interoperable, highly scalable ecosystem. It is the first smart contracts platform that confirms transactions in under one second, supports the entirety of the Ethereum development toolkit and enables millions of independent validators to participate as full block producers. Avalanche claims to be capable of throughput orders of magnitude greater than existing blockchain networks (4,500+ transactions/second), and safety thresholds well above the 51% standards of other networks.
At its core Avalanche is built around a system of three interoperable blockchains: the Exchange Chain (X-Chain), Contract Chain (C-Chain), and Platform Chain (P-Chain). In simple terms, the X-Chain is used for the creation of new digital assets, the C-Chain is Avalanche’s Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) layer, and the P-Chain is used for coordinating validators and creating subnets.
We are excited to announce that DIA’s oracles have been integrated with the Avalanche ecosystem and are available on the network’s mainnet. DeFi developers can now build dApps on Avalanche, by natively plugging the DIA oracle into smart contracts.
With this integration, DIA is providing a broader set of transparent industry-grade financial data on the fast-growing network. This oracle deployment will enable the creation of new DeFi products and use cases with DIA’s extensive data library, ranging from cryptocurrency price feeds to traditional financial equity price points.
