I Fought a Bogderry with Only a Broom

Feeling: Triumphant

Dear Diary,

Today was a great day for me, Dilbert the Squire! I bravely chased a bogderry out of the basement of Stalwart Fortress with nothing but a trusty broom. I swung it with all my might, striking fear into the heart of the beast. It didn’t stand a chance against me.

But now that I think about it, I’m not even sure what a bogderry is. I’ve never seen one before, and I don’t know if the creature I encountered was actually a bogderry or not. It could have just been a rat, but I’m not going to let that diminish my triumph. I still feel proud of myself for facing and overcoming the unknown creature.
