Machine Learning has been around for almost two decade and has become the buzzword recently. It is being applied everywhere in one way or another with varying degree of success. Let us look at a way of applying it in dating.

Tinder and many other dating apps have been a hit but none of them actually use machine learning since it more inclined towards hook ups then actually connecting two people. I am of the belief, that two people need to connect at a philosophical level to have a successful experience in a relationship.(They will end anyway.)

How much of similarity is and how much of polar difference is good between two people who are in a relationship?

A huge amount of data needs to be taken from the user about his likes and dislikes,or using neuro-science games to know about the intelligence and interests.

One of the most ridiculous thing we will need to do is use computer vision to judge a person’s look.(HotOrNot? Mark Zuckerberg). Though people will generally end up with a low score since the training data will include some of the best looking men/women in the world.

All this data will be tested against people in successful relationship and unsuccessful relationships to determine the probability of two people having success in dating.

Yes,dating success can be predicted. Love can be equationed. Maths governs everything.
