Dropbox,GoogleDrive,OneDrive,Amazon web service. These all have taken advantage of the cloud revolution and formed profitable business out of them.

But let us make one thing clear first. What is cloud? To most of us,the intuitive answer is online storage. But cloud isn’t limited to it. Cloud is making use of someone’s else infrastructure for storage, processing, transfer etc.

Now the question is: Can a platform for maintaining our health records be created?

Yes. And there are a million reasons it should be.

How much time do we waste finding the last slip from the same doctor?

How many times we end up losing the record?

How many times there is no track record or calendar of the doctors we met or our health issues?

How many of us remember the medicines we took last time we had the same disease?

These are issues can be solved. Plus,it makes the work of both the patient and Doctor easier. The patient need not worry about his medical records, and the doctor gets the whole timeline of the patient’s previous meets with other doctors, diseases and the medicine he took. More information, more power to the doctor.

To Dr. House, without whom this idea would have never come to my mind. Thank you for not trusting other doctors and always asking for family history.
