Collaborative horror story authoring using AI

Inline with the traditional Halloween inspired AI, and just in time for Halloween 2017, MIT released Shelley AI a conversational and collaborative horror story generator over Twitter. Last year the Nightmare machine generated Halloween inspired images.
http://shelley.ai is named after Mary Shelley, the author of Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus, which is a story of a young scientist who creates a smart but distorted monster in an unusual scientific experiment.
Authored by Pinar Yanardag, Manuel Cebrian and Iyad Rahwan, Shelley AI is a hybrid intelligence application that collaborates between humans and machines on Twitter. It uses Deep learning, and both Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and Natural Language Generation (NLG).
Shelley AI starts with a sentence on twitter and humans respond with the next sentence, ending with #yourturn hashtag to continue the collaboration or #theend to end the story. Shelley ignores hashtags, usernames, emojis, and tweet numbering. Shelley aims to keep multiple exciting horror stories going based on interest and likes.
Shelley was trained using eerie stories from reddit subreddit r/nosleep.
