If you’ve ever been stuck in traffic you know it only takes a couple of minutes before it’s all “what’s going on?” and “why aren’t we moving?”
Image then being stuck in a traffic jam that took over twelve days to fully clear.
Some poor souls were in there, trapped, for five full days.
Just reading about it gave me the shivers. But it happened.
Traffic started building up on the 14th of August 2010 and finally cleared once the traffic police began diverting traffic.
This happened on the Beijing to Tibet expressway in China, which at times has 50 lanes of traffic.

It wasn’t caused by an huge accident or natural disaster just a few extra trucks coming in to carry out road works.
