Our principles want to be cherished and cared for.

As we recently launched our new brand and website we want to give some insight into the guiding principles that guide our creative decision-making and our collaboration with each other. You can visit our new site here.

Our work on finding ourselves as a team started with asking how we do things. What’s the Diesdas way to make decisions? What are the hallmarks of how we communicate, work, and solve problems together? How does it feel to be part of our team? How do our clients experience our collaborative process?

Guiding principle number 1: Better together!

“Diverse teams achieve better outcomes” — This isn’t just a theory for us at Diesdas, it’s a truth we live by and have seen firsthand. We’re a diverse bunch, each bringing unique perspectives and ideas, and that’s something we cherish. When we say “better together”, it’s a nod to the power of this mix.

Our principle of being “better together” is also about our commitment to a working environment where collaboration is the norm and feedback is welcomed. We understand that giving and receiving feedback can be a daunting process, and we don’t have it all figured out yet. But we’re committed to creating a space where it becomes a natural part of our work routine, not something that causes anxiety.

This principle works as a vision for us too. We know we’re not entirely there yet, but we’re continuously striving to fully realize this vision. We see the road to becoming “better together” as a journey and not just a destination. It’s a path we’re taking one step at a time, learning, evolving, and improving as we move forward.

That’s what “better together” means to us — it’s a celebration of diversity, a commitment to collaboration, and a journey towards constant improvement. It’s not just a principle; it’s who we aspire to be.

Guiding principle number 2: Sharing is caring!

The essence of this principle lies in the very foundation of Diesdas. When we embarked on the agency journey, we were newcomers in a big arena. However, our determination to share our experiences, triumphs, and missteps with a global audience has shaped our agency’s identity. The premise is simple: if even one person finds value in our shared knowledge, we’ve scored a victory. We don’t just believe in the power of learning and knowledge sharing, we live it. We eagerly welcome fresh perspectives and are continually enriched by our diverse community. In return, we see it as our responsibility — and our pleasure — to pass on the insights we gain. After all, sharing is not just caring, it’s the backbone of growth and improvement.

Guiding principle number 3: Bring the joy!

From the very beginning of this agency, Diesdas was not only a place to learn and develop new skills — but a place to have fun. We like to enjoy ourselves, laugh with one another and bring that spark into the work that we do. This has allowed us to build a connection that’s helped us hold it together even in tough times (looking at you, pandemic). Work is a fact of life for most people. So why not try to make the most out of it by building a fun, caring environment with humane expectations? We try to conquer negative emotions, we appreciate open minds and the desire to change something rather than sticking with the status quo, so here’s our guiding principle number 3:

Bring the joy!
We value the power of positive thinking. We’re a small company and sometimes things might get jumbled up. But that’s okay! Call it out and become part of the solution.
