Working out has many benefits to your life such as a longer life, happiness, better sleep, relieve stress, and many more . There are many different workouts that target different things.

Core workouts: Sit-ups and crunches, planks — help strengthen your core and to flatten your stomach. These muscles also provide support for the entire body in everyday movements, reduce back pain, and improve posture. Planks burn more calories than sit-ups or crunches because they recruit muscles in the legs, arms, and rear too.

Leg workouts: Barbell squat, leg press, calf raises — leg workouts stimulate some of the largest muscles in your body, which helps create a metabolic state that is conducive to muscle-building. You can build muscle in your upper body without working out your legs, but working all the major muscles in your body will lead to faster and better results.

Cardio workouts: Running, swimming, stair climber, elliptical — A stronger cardio-vascular system means more capillaries delivering more oxygen to cells in your muscles. This enables your cells to burn more fat during both exercise and inactivity. Cardio exercise uses large muscle movement over a sustained period of time keeping your heart rate to at least 50% of its maximum level.
