Processed foods should not be a part of your diet
Processed foods are bad for because they are high in sugar, fat, salt, and lack fiber, vitamins and minerals. People who consume more ultra-processed foods have a greater risk of obesity, hypertension and high blood sugar levels, which can lead to heart disease and diabetes.

Highly processed foods often contain:
- Preservatives: Chemicals that prevent the food from rotting.

You should avoid these food due to all the added sugars and high sodium. Processed foods are easily accessible but doesn’t mean you should gravitate towards them. Overall, you will feel a lot more energized and happier if you have a healthy salad with chicken rather than a greasy hamburger with tons of sodium and ketchup lathered on it.
