Book Review — The Whistler John Grisham
I was ready for a nice easy fiction book leading into this Holiday season and John Grisham delivered as he always does in his newest series. I’d recommend this book for anyone who is looking for a good fiction read.
The story threads a interwoven fabric of corruption, power, greed, and injustice. The book is based in North Florida a geography that I hold dear. I grew up going to the beach in Destin, Florida and still love visiting family and friends along the panhandle any time of year.
The book follows Lacy Stoltz who works for the Florida Board on Judicial Conduct. She is tracking down a complain on a possible corrupt judge when tragedy and malice strike. And, oh did I mention, there is gambling and money laundering involved. You will not be disappointed in adding this book as your next fiction read — John Grisham does it again!
