Old Stories

2023 Holidays Are Almost Over — So We’re Working on ‘Digging Up Bones’ Issue #4

Time to get out the shovels again, and dig for more of those “oldies but goodies” that are buried in your archives somewhere

Our Regular Issue of ‘Digging Up Bones’— Issue #4 — will be published January 2, 2024. There is room for about FIVE more stories.

We want GOOD, OLDER stories that are no longer receiving the reads you feel they should be getting (not stories that were duds).

🐴 STOP!

Please read the GUIDELINES before you send. I hate to turn stories away.

Then choose your story, copy the URL, and send it to me in the comments.

Remember: This publication is designed to shine a light on older, GOOD stories that were buried before their time. Your stories and mine!

This pub has been growing and I’m anticipating its survival, unlike some of our stories.

I’ll be accepting stories (regular old stories) for Issue #4, through January 1, and continue collecting stories for future issues.

🆕Coming in February — Another Special Edition of Ghosts —

I’m calling it: ‘My Funny Valentine’

Everyone loves a good, romantic, happy-ending story for Valentine’s Day, right?

We’re going to read and write plenty of those.

How about Valentine’s day / romantic events that DIDN’T TURN OUT SO WELL, or were ridiculous or embarrassing!

What I would like is:

Romantic and/or Relationship Stories / Valentine’s Day / Wedding Proposal stories — which you’ve already written on Medium and are at least FOUR months old, that are funny, bizarre, hilarious, ridiculous, humiliating — you know, bloopers, real life mistakes, embarrassing, even dangerous — the moments in our lives where we do goofy stuff and sometimes wish we hadn’t or could laugh about it now!

The funnier or more humiliating — the better — for the “My Funny Valentine” edition(s) of ‘Digging Up Bones.’

Let’s see what gems you can dig up.

I’ll be taking stories for the ‘My Funny Valentine’ edition(s) starting NOW!
