Introduction

So, you’re starting out as a digital marketing agency or freelancer and it seems like a pretty daunting task, huh? One of the major hurdles you’ll face is finding leads. This is especially true if you’re new to the industry and don’t have a huge network yet. But no worries, there are many ways to find the leads you need to crush it.

G2 and Capterra Reviews

G2 and Capterra are two really popular review platforms where users can rate services or products. These platforms can be incredibly useful for finding alternatives in your niche. If you’re looking for no-code apps, you can just head over to these review platforms and search for that particular niche. Then, you’ll see all the companies in that niche, along with their respective ratings and reviews. This process works for most niches, except for those that are largely focused on local businesses.

Local Businesses

For businesses that are primarily focused on the local market and need a tool to identify and gather information on potential clients, check out this tool called D7 Leadgenerator. This powerful tool allows you to search for the niche you want to work with and enter the location where you want to work. It may take some time, but it will extract all the details from the website, including the name, email, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media handles of potential clients. It can also show you whether they run any ads on social media, among other useful information.

Minimum Companies

Once you have identified the companies you want to work with, it’s important to collect a minimum of 100 companies to expect any results, replies, or offers.

How to Find 100 Companies in Less Than 50 Minutes

If you’re targeting local businesses, then contacting them through phone or in-person visits could be effective. However, many agency owners, including myself, prefer to reach out through email or social media. Keep in mind that the maximum return on investment (ROI) through these channels is generally less than 5%.

Finding Emails and Social Media Profiles

With the abundance of email-finder tools available today, finding emails has become a relatively simple task. To get started, I recommend using one of the many email-finder tools like Snov.io, which is not only flexible but also free of cost. Other email-finder tools that you could use include Hunter, etc. Once you have identified the company website, you can search for the main decision-makers in the company, such as the founder and CEO. By simply searching “CEO of {{Company Name}}” on Google, you can gather their names and sometimes even their LinkedIn profiles. If you don’t have the name you’re searching for, you’ll need to analyze the pattern that the company has set up for their email. It is common for most companies to use some of these formats:

  • {{First_Name}}@company.com
  • {{First_Name}}.{{Last_name}@company.com

Once you have analyzed the pattern or logged in to Snov and headed over to the email finder and inserted the necessary details, you can see the best-verified mail. It might take some time initially, but once you have mastered the technique, it will take less than 2–5 minutes to find the CEO and email.

Outreach

After obtaining the email, name, and company, the next step is to offer your services. Sending personalized emails to 500 people can be a time-consuming process. However, with the “Cold Email Outreach” software, you can reach out to 100 emails daily in less than 15 minutes with customization. There are various software options, such as Snov, Instantly, Woodpecker, and more. In my experience, the best budget-friendly option is Snov.io.

With this software, you can personalize unlimited emails in just a few minutes. You can even set up a campaign that automatically sends follow-up emails based on the recipient’s behavior, such as opening the email or not. Without using such software, it is virtually impossible to find clients in a timely manner.

Conclusion

Now that you know how to set up a campaign that generates 2X more reach, you can start finding leads for your digital marketing agency or freelance business. Remember, the key is to be consistent and persistent in your outreach efforts. With the right tools and techniques, you can build a successful business and attract the clients you need to succeed.
