Diginex hires Andrew Rickards as Asia Chairman

Diginex, a digital asset financial services and advisory company, has hired Andrew Rickards as Chairman of Asia.

Mr. Rickards has nearly three decades of experience in Asia, with an investment banking career that included time in India, Japan, Greater China and Korea followed by running a conglomerate in Myanmar.

Mr. Rickards has held a number of senior investment banking roles throughout his career, including CEO of N.M.Rothchild & Sons Asia and Managing Director of Goldman Sachs Asia, where he led regional telecom investment banking.

Most recently, Mr. Rickards was the CEO of Singapore-listed Yoma Strategic Holdings, an investment pioneer in Myanmar during a period of rapid growth for this frontier market.

Based in Hong Kong, Mr. Rickards will work closely with Diginex business heads to bring its digital asset financial services and blockchain solutions to partners and investors throughout Asia.
