Carlo Cella — Digital Thinker and Factory Digitizer

Carlo Cella is graduated in Economics at the Bergamo University of Studies, and specialized in Financial Intermediation switched his experience and passion to QualiCal since its foundation in 1996.
He is QualiCal CEO covering a key role in QualiCal development aside his father Gian Mario Cella.
In the first 20 years of QualiCal he contributes to expand and consolidate the world –wide Company industrial assets of the Company with main focus to Emirates, in India and in the Far-East.
He is promoting the vision of the LIME GLOBAL BRAIN: an ecosystem of world-class partners who share our belief that lime customers benefit at the intersection of information technology and operations technology.
Fascinated by the challenges of Digitalization and the opportunities of innovations that can generate in the industry , he is the founder of DIG:ITA and the creator of its industrial digital brands as X4LIME, X4FIRE, X4COATING.
“Several years ago, we embarked on a journey to transform the industrial sector by introducing the potential of the Industrial Internet. From the start, looking first across the lime market and then the market at large, we saw a gap. The technology to power digital transformation was taking shape, but there was a critical need for something purpose-built for the distinct needs of each industry.”
That led him to create MOSAICO WORKSPACE, where realize the FUTURE of WORK driven by the meshing of the digital and the physical world, the emergence of new design and production techniques, and a seismic shift in the role that human beings play in the production process.
To realize the FUTURE of WORK, in DIG:ITA created MOSAICO digital workforce equipment with a set of Digital Competence, in the sense of the set of knowledge, skills, attitudes, abilities and strategies, that are required when we are using Information and Communications Technology and digital media
And within MOSAICO, he created #iDO the first Industrial Digital Operator that provides comprehensive predictive monitoring across all critical equipment plus key balance-of-plant equipment.
