What did our team find?

Working within MOSAICO Digital workspace was possible to identify a recurring problem on the movement coating carriages due to a fault photocells that are used by to understand whether a machining substation is already occupied or not.

What was the trigger for this analysis?

Through the use of the Mi-LIVE #iDO skill, the client was able to identify, within our ranking of the most recurring alarms, the specific problem of carriage movement.

By combining the effectiveness of digital analytics, mentioned above, with the operational skills of the GASER TEAM, it was possible to identify the photocells as root-cause of plant downtime.

What was the value to the customer?

The merge between information technology and operational competences turned the power of digital transformation into action.

The Customer implemented new technology substituting the existing photocell with new one — more affordable — avoiding the same problem to occur.

After a trial period, they replaced all of the problematic photocells, resulting in a drastic reduction in downtime as evidenced by the analysis below and improving the reliability and efficiency of the production plant.
