DB certifies professionals in Parasoft Solutions

The professionals took theoretical and practical lessons for over 200 hours in SOAtest, Virtualize and CTP, some of the main tools offered by the vendor. The group specialized in Parasoft solutions will be able to provide consulting and services, supporting clients during the whole adoption and sustaining cycle: from installation and implementing, to training the QA and Support Teams. DB’s Parasoft Team is a multidisciplinary staff, with employees that have experience ranging from testing to programming. To provide this new array of services and convenience for the clients, DB plans to have the professionals on-site in Canada. Parasoft Consultancy Services will integrate DB’s QA Services Portfolio which currently counts with more than 200 test professionals.

Parasoft SOAtest brings artificial intelligence and machine learning to functional testing, to help users test applications with multiple interfaces (UI, REST & SOAP APIs, web services, microservices, and more). Parasoft Virtualize can create, deploy, and manage simulated dev/test environments. It is the only solution on the market with an intuitive browser-based interface and a seamless integration with Parasoft SOAtest for integrated API testing, enabling users to manage test environments, virtual services, test data, and performance characteristics without scripting. This accelerates the CI/CD pipeline by making deployment, configuration, and provisioning more automated and straightforward.

The tools help optimize the testing time, focusing on the elements that are more critical and essential to the client’s system. “They work in a convenient environment for who is developing and also for who is testing, with a very innovative way of solving your problems”, says Matheus Venturini, one of DB’s certified professionals.

Parasoft, a North American corporation founded in 1987, is an independent software vendor specialized in automated testing and application security. According to Forrester Research, Parasoft is one of the market leaders in the area, also receiving in 2019 the “Customers’ Choice” award from Gartner for “Best Software test Automation Software” of 2019 as reviewed by customers.
