DB´s newest international project

Focused on sustainable growth, DB is kicking-off another international project. In partnership with Australia-based Pragmateam, DB is working on the integration of hotel management systems and SiteMinder which is Australia’s leading guest acquisition platform to the hotel industry in booking websites.

The project under development for SiteMinder relies on the use of new technologies to support the transactions volume of the platform through a robust, secure, resilient and modern design, serving as a benchmark in the booking business.

DB’s partnership with Pragmateam also serves projects of other Australian companies such as Tabcorp, the wagering and entertainment industry with more than 475,000 customers and 3,000 employees.

Pragmateam director Juliano Bersano says the main challenge is the “distributed development” due to the physical distance of the team, the time difference and the efficient flow of information between Sydney, Melbourne and Porto Alegre. “We connect TVs in every office to reduce the effects of distance between teams. “We try to make people appear to be in the next room “, says the executive.
