In the past year, TikTok has not just grown in terms of downloads, but also in the numbers of presidents, prime ministers, cabinet (or other government) ministers and ministries, and official government accounts joining the platform.

The map above shows countries in the world in which at least a member of the government (current or former), the government itself, or a government ministry is now on TikTok. Those government accounts have either been verified by TikTok (with a blue check mark on the account) or independently verified through the account holder official Twitter, instagram, or via a media report.
