Living the Dream
This Martin Luther King Jr. Day, I sit in a Chicago hotel preparing for an event with the Ford Motor Company where I’ll oversee the digital strategy. It’s an event where I’ll not only handle the digital strategy but I’ll be amongst 60 of the most influential African-American Men discussing our narrative, and redefining what it is. We’ll become vulnerable amongst one another, telling our stories as sons, brothers, and/or fathers. We’ll discuss our high points, and our low points together in a public forum because of an investment to do so by Ford Motor Company, the Ford Men of Courage Forums.
I’ll probably stand on the stage today and tell my story. The same story I’ve been given the platform to share with millions of people over the last year.
That’s a result of a dream, so we’re Living the Dream.

I’ll handle the digital strategy on behalf of an agency I founded at 16 years old to consult businesses on their digital strategy, The Flare Digital Agency. I’m now 18 years old with contracts as large as Ford Motor Company. Think about that.

Did I mention, I’m African American? Did I mention I’m male? Did I mention my parents had me as teenagers? Thank you Martin Luther King Jr. for having a dream, that I’m now able to live in.
