I want to dedicate this introduction to all the creators who are about to read this Brainfood edition. We live in an exciting time where technology continues to disrupt our lives. It has opened up many doors that lead to mesmerizing innovations that have improved the lives of millions of people.
The goal of this Brainfood edition is to give back to the community by sharing knowledge, learnings, failure, best practices, and useful principles
We are about to enter a new era where a lot is about to change. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are already shaping our daily experiences. Now, technology already anticipates our next move by providing situational design patterns or suggested actions based on our needs and behavior. It is foreseeable that technology will gain more importance in shaping our experiences with the dawn of AI. The question is, what challenges and changes we might face, as creators of these experiences?
The goal of this Brainfood edition is to give back to the community by sharing knowledge, learnings, failure, best practices, and useful principles to take into account while creating AI-driven products and services. This Brainfood is co-made by many contributors from all over the industry and designed by AWWWARDS. It is amazing to see how much effort AWWWARDS has put into this project. Their goal as well, is to give back to the community. I’m super thankful for that.
Since finishing my Masters at Hyper Island in 2016, I’ve been looking into how AI might impact future user experiences and how it will challenge our relationship with technology. Most of the reads about AI are always around if it will destroy or save humanity. I believe we’ll find answers if we’ll stop thinking in extremes and reflect on what it is.
We are future thinkers and creators of tomorrow’s experiences. So, I feel it is our responsibility to be the voice of this new era driven by AI.
