I recently went on a 5-day trip to Perth, Australia. I tried to squeeze as much in as I possibly could. Here’s my ultimate guide for art and culture nerds wanting to know what Perth has to offer them.

When you think of art cities in Australia, I’m sure that Melbourne and Sydney are the first to come to mind. You might even think about Canberra, our nation’s capital and home to the National Gallery of Australia. However, I’m almost certain that Perth would not make it to your list. In fact, I’d be surprised if anyone outside of Australia even knew that Perth existed, let alone that it has a fantastic arts and culture life!

Perth Cultural Centre

The first stop for any art nerd coming to Perth is the Perth Cultural Centre. It’s located at the top of the CBD and has a plethora of arts and cultural buildings to browse, most of which are free.
