Why Budapest is second to none in Eastern Europe

Recently, I returned to the one and only magical Hungarian capital of Budapest, exactly a year after my first visit when I was road tripping the Balkans!

Budapest is renowned to be one of the most impressive and picturesque cities in Europe, and it’s also famous for its never sleeping nightlife scene and tasty Hungarian food on offer.

It is thus a popular hotspot for many different kinds of tourists: casual city getaway tourists, architecture and history geeks, nature lovers, party goers and nightlife enthusiasts as well as foodies.

Obviously many cities in Europe also offer all the above and thus attract the same type and number of visitors each year.

But on a personal note, especially when it comes to Eastern Europe, Budapest is quite definitely second to none, and let me explain to you why!

First of all, Budapest is just as pretty, impressive and utterly gorgeous and astonishing as a city as its famous neighbour Vienna, Austria’s capital which is renowned to be Europe’s most liveable city.
