My Life in Singapore as a DP in 2024
An overall take of my first few months living in Singapore
As referenced in an old post, I have moved to Singapore with my wife and have finally had the time to sit down and think about life again, and make something of my Medium subscription. My new abode is the sunbaked land of ‘Singapura’, or Singapore. A country renowned for its eclectic mix of cultures all living in relative harmony and driving toward prosperity for their homeland.
The Job Scene
Possibly the least positive part of this article. I can’t say much on this area as the country is taking a very different direction with international human resources in favour of a more local-centric workforce. Singapore often takes the trophy on many a ‘digital nomad’ listicle for being somewhat of a paradise for finance and IT professionals the world over.
A title it no doubt deserves for its general salary packages, great standard of living, and moniker as the gateway to Asia — unfortunately, I cannot count myself amongst those kinds of professionals. I am a design and…
