November is always an awkward month in the United States. The Halloween people are taking down their lawn decor while the Christmas people are setting theirs on display. There is a holiday in the middle that is quite often forgotten in the chaos. It might be due to the true problematic history of Thanksgiving, the vegan movement, or to the fact that the holiday just isn’t as marketable for commercial use as others are. Regardless of what it is, millions of Americans are still getting primed and ready for the day. While you gear up to cut the turkey and yell at your aunt Susan for hogging all the wine, let’s learn about some other Thanksgiving/harvest festival traditions!
