Pangkor Island is located on the western coast of Peninsular Malaysia, in the northern part of the Straits of Malacca. It is part of the state of Perak and is situated in the Malaysian state of Perak.

Here are the most common ways to access Pangkor Island:

By Air and Land

  • Fly to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA): If you are arriving from another country, the most common way to reach Pangkor Island is to fly into Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), which is Malaysia’s main international gateway.
  • Transfer to Lumut: From KLIA, you can take a domestic flight or use ground transportation to reach the town of Lumut, which is the gateway to Pangkor Island. The journey from KLIA to Lumut takes approximately 3 to 4 hours by road.

By Road from Other Parts of Malaysia
