Why Plan the Trip When You Can Make Impromptu Improvisation?

It’s a strange coincidence that I came across a related poster shortly after experiencing (and withstanding) the impact of Murphy’s Law. In hindsight, it is a good thing that I did not forget to capture it on camera.

It makes more sense now. Having taken photographs of the poster at the time, making use of Photoshop, and doing what I am — using it as an additional photograph (below) to describe an ordeal when anything that could go wrong, actually did.

That being said, this narrative is not only about describing what turned out to be both an excruciating and an exhausting experience that my partner and I had to endure recently, but also about keeping a cool head during that frustrating period and eventually coming up with a pragmatic solution. In the final analysis, travel is always about drawing positives from what you end up experiencing. Right?
