Written Reels of Prague Travels
We reach Prague station. It is very big. Busy. Much better than German stations.
We check Google Maps. It tells Hotel 1.6Kms away. We walk. It did not tell Prague roads pebble stone roads. Very difficult to drag trolley luggage.
Arrived at hotel with sore and tired hands. Dumped luggage went old town square. One and only mall in Prague we see. We get drawn. Dopamine craving wins. 2 credit card swipes satisfy a craving, we come out.
Now hunger craving. Right center of the old town square, sexy old charm hotel King’s Court. Colonial architecture. Fancy restaurant bar of the hotel called Adele.
We enter. We see the menu. Now along with hunger, guilt also kicks in. We ordered a mixed salad with goat cheese. Tastiest and prettiest salad we ever had.
After fighting over who will eat the salad and who will finish the not-so-great schnitzel we go back to the hotel. We’re tired. We rest.
#Day 2
Wake up. Good Morning. Go down, and get coffee. Coffee room service is not available. -1 for an otherwise good hotel called Maximilian.
We go out on a random walk towards the town centre. Through shopping street. We reach someplace which is very busy, very beautiful, very local. Typical setup. Grand church, open area around it. Very beauty beauty flowers and garden around. Clock tower nearby. Small flea market type food and souvenir kiosks.
We try Bramboraky (Potato Pancake). No likey. We walk to digest. We lost in super fun streets old Praha. They are small, they are tourists, there are shops and bars on both sides, and they are like Diagon Alley in Harry Potter.
We buy candies, wooden stuff, magnets and some unique stuff. We again walk and come to the bridge. Bridge full of humans and more humans. Crossing both ways.
The weather is good, walk is enjoyable. Walked 100+ stairs to reach a castle. We are hungry again, we stop for food and beer. Pilsner Urquell good beer. We are tired again. We walk back. Now the hotel seemed very far. Reach hotel and rest.
Evening we went out again, and had Indian food, Yes, in Prague. Because, why not? We see casino, we go casino. We play roulette. We lose all our money. We come back. We are tired again. We sleep.
#Day 3
We go out famous waffle breakfast place. We have savory and sweet dishes. Very very tasty. Light drizzle starts. We walk in the cool wind and drizzle.
We go back to Diagon alleys to randomly explore more. We find Fat Cat Beerhouse. We go in and order 2 samplers with 7 beers each. After finish, our heads are as light as a cat.
Happily, we walk towards other part of town. Stumbled on a shopping street. All the same brands, we bored. We find Primark. It is new for us. We enter. We swipe. We come out. We are very tired. We go back to the hotel. We ordered Chinese in the hotel. Because, why not?
#Day 4
Pack stuff, check out, and go airport.
Small airport. Weird airport. Only 1 place to eat. So we eat at that 1 place, board the plane and bye bye Prague.
