Official submission guidelines.

Hey there, let us introduce ourselves before letting you take the stage.

We come from a privacy protection company called Surfshark and for years we have been gathering knowledge that leads to better (and more secure) digital life. We thought that it is about time to start sharing our insights but more importantly ask you to share yours.

We created Digital Life Hub Publication to connect people who want to take control and secure their digital lives. We want to connect ideas, news, and insights with people who seek knowledge and a better understanding of the digital world.

What We Are Looking for in Writers

We believe in Medium values and we look for quality and personal stories. We want you to share your first hand experience, what drives you, what makes your digital life better and what could inspire and educate others.

Call us dreamers but we want each one of you to feel important and empowered. And what makes us feel more empowered than teaching and helping others. So make your words count.

Before submitting a story to this publication consider these questions:

  • Does your story come from your personal experience?
  • Does your story have empirical evidence to support your claims?
  • Does your story have an original take on a specific issue?
  • How will people benefit from your story? What is the main idea they should get from it?
  • Is your story easy to follow and understand? Does it have a clear beginning, middle and the end?
  • Is your story professionally written, free of grammatical errors and typos?

Also before submitting keep in mind these things:

  • We prefer drafts that are not yet published on Medium;
  • When you submit your draft make sure you are a member of Medium Partners program (this way your story will reach a bigger audience and you can even get paid);
  • We want original content, not published anywhere outside Medium borders;
  • We need you to follow Medium Rules and ask you to review Medium Curation Guidelines before submitting your draft

Please keep in mind that we do not guarantee that your story will be published if it meets all the criteria mentioned above. Subject matter, timing, and volume are as much important.
