QR code means as Quick Response code is the matrix barcode system is now widely used in consumer items now a days. We almost everybody knows about the barcode system that is also using in the super shop to shopping outlets. Actually barcode and QR codes are very much familiar and used with POS software. Although the QR code was first invented for automotive industry by Toyota, but it is now also used for others to identifying items digitally.

QR code consists and encoded with invisible information’s that may be made up of four standardized types (“modes”) of data like numeric, alphanumeric, byte/binary and logographic or virtually any types of data. It becomes popular day by day outside automotive industry because of it has faster readability and more storage capacity rather than general Barcode systems. It is basically used for product/items identification, time tracking, general marketing, document management and much more.

The QR code exist with black modules looks like square dots that arranged in a square grid on a white background, which can be read by an imaging device. Data is then calculated from visual present in both horizontal and vertical components of the image. So a simple scan can captures the desired information.

Typically a smart phone (android/iOS/windows enabled etc) is used as QR code scanner, displaying the code and converting it to useful information’s like name, address, phone, fax, email, website, vCard, country etc. and store different types of information’s.

The following QR code consists and stored some information’s of a company. You can just try by scanning from your smart phone and may have a look how QR codes stored information’s like vCard (Virtual Business Card) and encoding the information’s into a format that is called the QR code. When the QR code scanned the by a smart phone or camera, it will show the information’s that was inputted.

Using QR codes any company, for example like a courier management company can generate QR code storing information’s when a customer order is issued. The customers or courier company can attach a QR code when they order or receive a courier for another. The authorized admin or courier driver when picked the parcel, they can scan QR code from their smart phone and search the order, where it should have to deliver, price, and others info of the parcel. From this way the customer’s product security and privacy can be ensured.

Many people in the world start using smart phones so thus the concept of business is changing. QR code is one of them. As because the smart phone consider as a QR code scanner device using apps, so using QR codes in business also increasing gradually.
