A newsletter is a form of email marketing that publicizes relevant news, articles and content. Recently, newsletters publishing platforms have been launched, allowing anyone to create their own newsletter, with no technical knowledge.

Why newsletters are so beneficial

  • Number one communication channel — email still remains to be the number one form of communication, with 99% of people checking their e-mails on a daily basis.
  • Unique to you — your e-mail list is unique to your business and you have total control over it.
  • Turn you into a source of information — you don’t always have to have products to offer to become a point of interest on a certain topic. Quite often, sharing information on a unique topic is enough to garner an audience.
  • More control — whilst social media still allows you to share offers, it doesn’t give you as much control and ability to converse with your customers or your readership on such a personal level.
  • No battling algorithms — unlike social media, newsletters are sent directly to those who have a direct interest in your content without the need to alter your work to fit the algorithms.
