Lately, people have been asking me the same question over and over.

What the heck is Clubhouse?

If you’re looking for it in the App Store, this is what it looks like. There are a few apps called Clubhouse so make sure you get the right one.

If you’re looking in the Google Play Store, you won’t find it because it’s currently only out for iOS devices, like iPhones. If you have an iPad, you can use it on there also or snag your kid’s iPad Mini and tell her to go watch Peppa Pig because she’s had too much tablet screen time. (kidding)

You create a profile as you would on most social media apps. Here’s mine as of a few days ago.

It’s called “Drop-In Audio” which simply means there are “rooms” where you can drop in and chat with people. But with a couple of important twists.

The creator of the room can make it private or public, sets the topic, and controls who can or can’t speak.
