Introduction —

Hello, my name is Jackson Thompson, I am a senior studying journalism and media studies with a concentration on sports media. I am also a creative writing minor and have drafted four short stories, none of which have been published. The type of writing I specialize in is sports feature writing, particularly profile, and creative fiction ranging from romance to science fiction. As a sports journalist I have been published, I am the former sports editor of the Daily Targum and a former high school sports intern reporter for NJ.com. I’ve covered Rutgers women’s soccer, wrestling, football and men’s basketball. I am currently a paid staff writer for a maven website of the Sports Illustrated Maven network, covering the New York Giants. I produce two to three articles per day.
