Nothing to see here, just digital normads glitching ideas

We continue our production exercise in class with Maren from Invisible Room after the briefing by the collaboration partner; Freies Werkstatt Theater (FWT).

We began the journey by creating a marketplace that helped us visualize our own skills, personality traits, and the skills we wanted to learn during the production exercise. This exercise allowed us to gain a better understanding of our team members’ capabilities and how best to combine them.

Later, we explored Design Thinking and brainstormed various core thoughts related to our production, including “Presence off-site”, “Idealistic”, “Open to new ideas”, “Expand their XR possibilities”, and “Community Building”. We discussed potential challenges we may face and decided to conduct simple interviews before and after the performance to gather feedback from the audience.

In the later part of the day, we were introduced to various WebXR tools and projects, including Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and 3D websites. We watched some interesting projects and explored Google’s AR search function, which left us feeling excited and eager to explore this further for our production exercise.

Overall, it was another productive day filled with learning and collaboration. We are looking forward to forming small teams and simulating real-life consulting experiences by booking our company members for 3-hour timeslots. Stay tuned for more updates on our Glitch Unlimited journey.

As we continue our production exercise, personally I am gaining valuable knowledge and skills and also help me collaborate with others to build a successful prototype.
