The nervousness of starting something new was quickly put to ease by our cheerful course instructor Maren Demant at the Internationale Filmschule Köln. We started with introducing ourselves in one line. The representatives of Freies Werkstatt Theater (FWT) introduced themselves and briefed us about their ongoing play “Revolt. She said. Revolt again.”

I have always been fascinated by the raw talent of the theatre actors. Coming from an animation background, I’ve had the opportunity to work with them closely. In my personal opinion, theatre actors make for great voice over artists. A few things remained in my mind from our first meeting, especially what FWT’s Guido Rademachers said, “Theatre is a technology to create new realities”.
