After a slow start to the day, I was able to overcome my initial lack of productivity — thanks to a cup of coffee and the enthusiasm of my teammates. Our team, consisting of Gwamaka Mwabuka, Media Haqshenas and yours truly (I) began the day by naming our project “EchoVerse.”

The other day when we visited the Freies Werkstatt Theater to the watch the play “Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again,” we had an exclusive meeting with the actresses. During the discussion, they expressed a desire for a platform where people could engage, provide feedback, and share their stories and reflections from the play.

We were inspired by the concept of an “echo” which refers to the repeating sound wave produced when a sound is reflected off a surface and returns to its source. The platform will provide a space for community building, dialogue, and reflection, allowing individuals to engage with the play in a deeper and more meaningful way.

After lunch, we presented our project idea and the core experience to the class as well as to Lea Schorling, who was on Zoom. She provided us with valuable feedback on our presentation. It was also great to receive feedback from our peers, and it helped us refine our vision further.
