What will travel accommodation be like in the future? We know already and form a community to create it. We focus on sharing space, resources, thoughts and dreams with like-minded people and becoming a better version of ourselves while being a part of something bigger. We call it the Coliving Club.

Here you will read about our real experience and connect with our team to explore the Coliving Club to the fullest. Take a closer look at each one of us in a series of interviews.

Meet Dariya Ponomarenko — Business analyst | Photogrpaher | Content creator

Darya is an international business researcher and analyst, whose mission is to relay to the team how foreign cultures will engage in the Coliving principles. This guidance will aid in strategic decisions related to signature location hub site selection and development.

When I asked what kind of interview she wanted, Dariya said: “I want to feel like an Esquire star”. So here we go.

If someone asks me to advise a book, I usually think twice. The request often comes from those who understand in literature a little less than absolutely nothing. It’s strange that people of this kind have the most rigorous desire to read everything. I myself love gloomy books, even nasty at some point. Parents that feed their children with hormones, moral and physical violence, bullying someone to committing suicide — that’s what I’m interested in but, of course, such literature is not for everyone. Therefore, you’d better look at the TOP-reads on the bookmate, friends.

I’m having a bad day at work, if something goes wrong from the technical point of view, like the printer is out of paint, there’s no Internet and I forgot the chargers at home. I have to quickly change my plan for the day, which I don’t like at all. Inspiration is a capricious thing, and I don’t have this luxury of being distracted by daily grind, wasting my time.

If I could go back in time and become 10 years younger, the only thing I would advise myself is to be more daring and to approach things more easily. If you feel that something is yours by right — take it.

10 minutes is enough for me to figure out if some person and I are going in the same direction. Sometimes you really are from the same page and then only time can decide. But time is tricky: things usually happen either too early, or too late. So this is how it is.

The most dangerous form of discrimination is misogyny. This is a kind of sexism that is directed by women against other women. We often hear from our mothers that it’s wrong for a girl to be dependent on a man and at the same time that she shouldn’t work a lot. There are so many absurd situations around the topic “Because you are a girl!” that it seems the female sex has wittingly lost the war.

I will never stop buying paper books. Certainly I support technical progress, but to collect a large library is one of my life plans.

The future will come when we stop caring about what’s inside people’s pants and who they sleep with, and begin to notice their potential and inner strength.

Thank you so much for taking some time to read this story!
