Reinventing Historic Photographs with AI

One of the lessons I took from Belief’s Pollinate creativity primer was to allow art in a particular medium to inspire another. Music to influence your painting. A photograph to influence your writing.

When I was in the radio industry and had a script to write but not a lot of ideas, I would often sit down at a mixer in the production studio and start listening to potential music selections. The music never failed to inspire an idea.

So, let’s see if we can apply that method to inspire flash fiction. I’ll use a public domain photograph from the Library of Congress to create a piece of AI-assisted art that will (hopefully) inspire an idea.
