The desert.

This is a poem about this person who has a conflict with GOD. This person shows his emotions about how he feels. He feels bad about what happened to him, his family had been killed in an airplane in the savannah (desert) this person is blaming everything on GOD and he feels bad about not protecting his family, so he suffers too much. The thing that inspired me was the other poem we read from one of the Ugandan poems about building the nation. This poem was really nice and it shows the readers feelings it really explains what happens in countries in the world. The topic of this poem is blame.

v The intended tone I wanted the readers to have was angry.

v Then the intended mood I wanted them to have was sad and sorry.

The message for the reader was, however much you’re sad, angry and depressed you shouldn’t put the blame on the others, because it just makes you feel a little bit better but it will always continue haunting you and you won’t help yourself out of this situation.

I used rhyme scheme in this poem so that I could describe the person and the place that he is in, this also helps to show the expressions on people’s faces.
