What is 5G network?

5G is the fifth generation of the mobile network. In its first stages of testing and deployment to more modern cities in the world, it shows internet speeds 3 to 4 times higher than its predecessor, the 4G network. Of course, this is a beta of the 5G network itself and it is thought that these speeds will go up to 20Gbps. It certainly brings its advantages, but also its disadvantages.

The main advantage is the speed of data mentioned above, which opens up many possibilities in its finished market today.

The key drawbacks are radiation, which I think is more a matter of the media and their content on portals than a real threat to humanity. Recall the transition of 3G to 4G network, there were also the same concerns and concerns, but today it has not been possible to determine whether or not a cell phone is harming a person’s health. It is my opinion that if it harms (in the physical health sense) that it is at minimum levels and that the human body has become completely accustomed to the “radiation” of mobile and other devices in the year we live in. Cell phones by themselves are in a time where we are living an absolutely primary thing.

Why do we need it?

By usage time, the thing we definitely use most in the day, whether for work, for private use, or both. The whole market system is turning to cell phones from websites, apps, games… I consider it as positive, since the cell phone is always at hand, if something is extremely urgent and we do not have a laptop with us, we will solve it on the cell phone. It is also the fastest, in a few clicks on our screen we get the information we need.

People have become overwhelmed with burning PCs, laptops because they know that it is possible to get rid of mobile phones, which is why the market is adapting to mobile formats and capabilities. With all that said, 5G is, I wouldn’t say a huge improvement, but cerstainly an upgrade.

Why not a huge improvement, you may wonder?

With a stable 4G network we have quite a fast enough connection for our needs. But as technology moves forward, newer hardware and software will require faster Internet, and that’s where 5G comes in.

Where will it be used?

In the next few years we will probably be able to use our mobile phone smoothly in terms of internet speed, but there will come a time when 5G will become “mandatory”. In hardware terms, I mean higher resolution screens, the new 8K that will start to be used on cell phones in a year, that is, images and videos will be at such a resolution that 4G will not be able to launch.

What is certain is that the big hunt will revolve around the introduction of the 5G network, from the infrastructure needed to run the network to testing it, building new cell phones that will support that network, also the telecoms themselves that will sell it to us. As I mentioned almost every market branch will be able to use and implement the 5G network, from newspaper portals and content uploads to agricultural machines (more modern) that will be connected to 5G. It will also play a major role in manufacturing, which is increasingly turning to artificial intelligence, that is, to replacing human power in performing monotonous and simple tasks.

To introduce even more of this technological power, a “fuel” is needed to drive it all, that is, a stable and faster internet network, and 5G, which we know is extremely fast, also offers more capacity than 4G.

With the advent of the 5G network, these are the business opportunities that I have outlined:

  • physical workforce (infrastructure building),
  • hardware manufacturers,
  • software developers,
  • resellers in a telecommunications company, etc.

To conclude, 5G network will definitely benefit most people, businesses and industries. Of course, there will always be advocates who say it is unnecessary or detrimental to health. I think technology should be allowed to evolve and embrace it because it is this technology development that offers many business opportunities. It makes a new technological area, a place for new jobs and new professionals needed in that market.
