A few days ago, I had lunch with my sister Anna, who told me about her phone provider’s responsiveness. After several written exchanges, she wonders and finally realizes that it was not a real interlocutor but a robot.

Somewhat bewildered, my sister was then surprised at how much the resemblance and precision can be disturbing.

And even if the bot is not a novelty, its use today seems indispensable.

It has all sorts of uses, but customer support remains the most effective in the commercial world. In fact, it offers a continuous customer experience, whatever the hour, day or month. The bot doesn’t sleep.

But finally, what is a chatbot ?

Definition : it’s a computer program that simulates a human conversation, either vocally or textually.

Since when ?

It could be used in different situations :

Case 1 :

You are a transport company and you offer different subscriptions. After a few introductory formulas, the chatbot asks the user different questions in order to identify the different subscriptions that might suit him. Questions relating to age, location, travel habits and of course budget. There is something for all ages and for all needs: Weekends, daily, long distance, … An offer suits you? The chatbot takes care of the booking!

Case 2 :

You are a textile brand, and on your website, you install a shopping assistant who will advise you and make recommendations according to your profile (age, location, style, budget,…).

It is use has several advantages, first of all it brings a new and personalized user experience. A nice impact on the consumer. But it also allows you to better know your target through different information. First of all demographic information, as well as trends.
