Hit, Demi-god

Hitendra is the daughter of Caelia and Ta’aniel. She is the first being to be born of such a union and is regarded as the first Demi-god. Though Ta’aniel preferred the land below Cerulis, he hated being away from his daughter for long periods of time. He often brought back a variety of trinkets though she always took a shine to anything related to the warriors of old.

Hitendra has an unstoppable passion, often acting before thinking. Her ferocity is so overpowering that even as a child she could train with the best guards with breaking a sweat. Caelia taught her from a young age that her duty is first and foremost for the good of the realm. Nothing was to ever come before the realm of Illumnia but she inherited her father’s sense of wonder and desire for exploration.

Despite Cerulis putting peace before war, the warriors within maintained a constant vigil, remaining ever diligent in the protection over the city. Hitendra would learn all she could in weapon and tactics training. No technique was too hard to learn and each weapon proved easy to wield. Day after day and challenge after challenge, Hit would overcome it all. Nothing could stop her, nothing except loss.

Word had spread throughout Cerulis that the grand explorer, Ta’aniel, had passed. No one knew the truth about his death so rumors had to fill the void. In her mourning, all Hitendra heard was whispers of murder until she could stand it no more.

Hitendra continued her training until the day she would come of age and set out into the world to learn the truth. Until that day, she would honor the duty bestowed on her by her mother and stand by her brother through whatever comes next.
