Alahodra Desert

The Alahodra Desert was once a vast jungle, filled with fruits more flavorful than anything in Valoris. This place was originally hand-crafted by Arcyna. She wanted a place for the souls of children who never got to live a full life to have somewhere to play and live the childhood that was taken from them.

Once again, the corruption of Leviathan turned what once was a beautiful place, into a land of darkness. The jungle was washed away by torrents of sand. The roots and stems dried and withered. The fruit, once considered the best in the world, was dried up, lost to time and the memories of the few who consumed it.

The aftermath gave way to the largest desert in all of Tenebrye, the Alahodra Desert. Here, no one was safe. Children who remained in Tenebrye never traversed this land ever again. It became a place of banishment for the Soulmongers, who were driven here by the Tenebrye Mages.

Anyone who is caught in this region is not far from becoming a slave to the Soulmongers and sold to the mages to serve a darker purpose. If somehow one manages to avoid enslavement, then the many monsters of the desert will surely be their end.

The Mervitallian, a beast of unimaginable size burrows through the deep sands of the desert, only to emerge when food comes walking along. The creature is dark grey, with a head like a lizard and twenty arms bigger than castles and thicker than the hard oak trees of the Oreliana Forest.

Spicers, lizards as large as humans, that walk on two legs, live in packs around the desert. Their footsteps are so light, that once you hear them coming, it is too late. Their back is covered with hard black scales, and bright green flesh makes up their underbelly. They spit green flame that is a mixture of embers and sulfur. The pain it induces is where the Spicers earned their name.
