Hi everyone,

Thanks again for taking part yesterday and particularly in raising such interesting issues. I really hope that you can return to some of them — whether in preparing for the upcoming sessions or in researching for your assessments.

With the latter in mind I think you have posed some great questions and areas to look at for digisoc3: censorship — once the box has been opened, can it be closed again? Hardware — how has the development of hardware technologies directed our interaction with the digital society? Digital marketing — targeting our digital profiles: how far is too far?

The above came from the first three Padlets I opened! Have a look at what you have created and post your responses and questions. In the session many of you spoke of how these developments have affected you personally. As you learn more through the course think back to this — has exploring these topics changed your thoughts and feelings on ‘the implications of living in a digital world’?
