When I first thought of what the internet was when brainstorming for this project, I thought of a massive brain that had people working furiously in cubicles. I was thinking more and more, to realize that the internet is a place, especially for me, that you can get sucked into. You can waste so much time surfing the web when we could be outside exploring and enjoying nature. This is when I thought of the quote at the bottom of the picture.

“ We get sucked into the internet and streaming, and it’s time to just unplug and look within.” — Jonathan Cain

This day in age, the internet is a vital tool for everyone. It has been integrated into schooling, work, and leasiur throughout our daily lives. Imagine if we still didn't have the internet. How much harder our lives could be. So after remembering the quote about being sucked into the internet, I thought of the picture to go along with it. Quite literally a person being sucked into a computer monitor. I just got a pencil and some printer paper and started drawing. You can see at the top of the picture I integrated my idea of the cubical office space into the drawing, by having different social media outlets and other websites as the robot people in the cubicles. The message that I am trying to send is that we should all take some time away from the internet Read a book. Start drawing. Take a walk. Just do something that does not realy on the internet. As the quote says, unplug.
