Apply to be a Google News Fellow with The Times and The Sunday Times

This year we’re participating in the Google News Fellowship programme which means you could join our team for the summer and work on bringing the best news stories of the day to life for readers.

There is more information about the Fellowship programme is structured here

The Fellow will join our cross-title digital department which includes data journalists, newsroom developers, multimedia journalists, interactive news producers and audience development experts. These teams are charged with finding and telling stories on our digital platforms in the most appropriate formats and empowering the newsroom to present stories in new and innovative ways.

We’re looking for someone with boundless enthusiasm and a belief that high quality journalism is more important now than ever before. You might have a great idea of how to find stories in complex data sets, thoughts on how to engage readers under articles or how to use the wealth of subscriber data we have to better serve our readers.

We build tools to make journalists lives easier and to ensure all our stories are being told in the best way possible — any questions drop us a line @timesdevelops on Twitter.
